Hello Dear Friends,
I am sure you are surprised to see me back again so soon! Well I had to tell you about the fabulous vacation I had this past weekend. On Thursday morning, I took off for who knows where with Mommy and Daddy. We stopped after a little while and who did we see but Uncle Jeff, Aunt Jamie, and Cousin Camryn! I was so excited. We soon got back in the car and traveled for what seemed like forever. Finally we got to where we were going - Uncle Jace and Aunt Randy's house in Arlington, TX.
We had a very enjoyable weekend. I got to spend quite a bit of time playing with Camryn. I also spent a lot of time trying to get Aunt Randy to take me to see the "woof-woof" (dog), Tom!
On Saturday, we got to spend some time taking pictures at the pumpkin patch. After we finished, we went to the Ft. Worth Stockyards and got to see some REALLY big cattle and some horses (one of them even smiled at me). I really enjoyed my weekend, and I hope you will enjoy the pictures of our time there.
p.s. - Thanks to Aunt Randy for the last two pictures!

A New Cousin!
Well, I have some exciting news for you! Last week, I got a brand new cousin! His name is Garrison Steven Samuel Wood - that's quite a mouthful, but he's a pretty big boy!
He had a few problems with his lungs after he was born, so he is still in the hospital, but I think he will go home soon. I hope that I will get to meet him in person in a few months!

Catching up! - September
Well, like all of the past months, September was busy too! Early on in the month, I decided that eating with my fingers wasn't always the best way, so I tried using a spoon! I am not very good at it yet, but I will definitely keep working on it!
This year was the first year that I was able to go to the State Fair! Last year I was too little, so I didn't get to go. It was pretty exciting! There were all kinds of interesting sights and smells and I got to learn what a "mullet" was!
The week after the fair was exciting too! I got to go and spend not one, but two nights with my cousin Camryn. She is six months old, and even though she is younger, she is still pretty cool to hang out with. That weekend, I also got to go and visit Uncle Jeff at work, which was really fun because he works at a firehouse, so I got to see the big red truck!
I am still trying to get this walking thing down, but I am soooo close! I still like to hold on to things for extra security.
I'm saying quite a few things at this point - my favorites seem to be "b" words - Bible, bubble, baby, bye-bye...I also know that the dog says "woof woof". My two favorite words, though, are still Mama and Dada.

Catching up! - My Birthday!!
Well, after 12 anxious months, the moment we had all waited for arrived! I turned one year old! Looking back, I certainly feel more mature than all those infants under one, and I am sure you will notice changes in me now as well....
But enough about that - lets talk about the party! The big day went off pretty much as planned. I had a LOT of guests! We had beautiful weather and cooked out on the grill. I had a hard time keeping track of everyone that was there, but they all seemed to enjoy themselves while I tore into my gifts. It's so great to know that so many people love and support me and my family.

Catching up! - August
Well this post will be a little short because it is going to only lead up to the most important day of the year, my birthday, which of course deserves its own post! August was a crazy month! Mommy and Daddy were stressed out trying to get our house ready to have people over for my party! I was a little worried at first that it wasn't going to work out, then one day I came home and all of a sudden, our house had undergone a transformation! Instead of all the concrete floors and pokey tack strips, we had nice new carpet! I LOVED it! Within days, I decided that it was not only fun to play on, but also for working on my new art of scooting (who needs crawling anyway?). I even decided that the carpet was soft enough for a nap every now and then. I hope you enjoy the pictures of the new house before and after the carpet.
In August, I also started figuring out how to sit up in my crib...you know what that means? Instead of laying on my back crying, I was able to sit up so that Mommy or Daddy could hear me even better! I added my 12th tooth in August as well - make sure you keep your fingers away!

Catching up! - July
I know, I know, I'm terribly behind on this blogging thing, but I think as you will understand, I have a very busy life (can you imagine what it will be like once I am in school?!). I am going to try to recap everything in several posts. Hold ON!!
This post is for the Month of July.
I began the month by experiencing my first Fourth of July holiday. I got to spend time with lots of family members, got to watch a parade and really enjoyed fireworks.
We continued work on our house, but it was still kind of a mess! I tried to help Grandpa Mike as much as I could while he worked on the house.
In July, I added 3 teeth - numbers nine, ten, and eleven! I also enjoyed a sleepover at our house by cousins Hannah, Hunter, Haylie, and Natalie.

It Never Ends!!
Dear Friends,
I'm sorry I have not kept you as up-to-date as I'd like; however, it seems that this moving and remodeling business takes FOREVER! Besides that, I've kept busy going to Super Summer two days a week while Mommy teaches older kids. I have enjoyed it very much and my teachers always send a note home saying how good I've been (did you expect any less?).
We are getting so close to being done repainting my new bedroom that I can almost taste it! Hopefully soon I will be able to invite you all over to check it out.
Speaking of taste, I've been trying all kinds of new foods lately. Besides baby foods, Mommy has been giving me small pieces of whatever she is eating. I like most of it quite a bit. Tonight, I tried ice cream for the first time. It was really cold, but after I got used to it, I didn't want to stop!
I'm still not crawling, but I like to stand up when I have something to hold on to, and I have gotten to where I roll around a lot, even in my sleep! Mommy and Daddy are expecting me to take off crawling as soon as I have some carpet to work with here at the new house.
Well, once again it is time to go, but please make sure to check out the pictures below, as well as all of the new ones on the family photo page link.

My Friend Pete
Hello everyone!
I wanted to take a few moments out of my busy schedule to tell you about my friend Pete. Pete has been my Daddy's dog for a LONG TIME (since 1995!). He was the first dog that I ever got to meet. I wasn't very impressed the first time I met him, but that changed quickly. Recently, I would get very excited every time I saw him and enjoyed watching him run around the yard. Today is a sad day for me, though, because we had to say goodbye to Pete. I wish I had gotten to spend a little more time with him, but I know he is in a better place now. Pete was 13 years old (that's 91 in dog years).
Goodbye Pete!

I'm Sooooo Sorry!
Hello to all my loyal readers out there! I MUST apologize for my lack of posting. It would seem that moving to a new house requires more of my time than I thought it would.
Let me try to recap the past month for you:
First of all, I am VERY excited that I have a brand new cousin. Camryn Jade was born on April 5th, and I got to go see her the very next day! We haven't gotten to spend much time together, but I am sure we will be good friends.
Second of all, we closed on our new house on April 11th. Since then, it seems that we do a lot of traveling back and forth to the new house since it isn't quite ready to move into. Most of the time, I spend my days trying to keep occupied while Mommy works, but sometimes I get to spend the days with Grandma Judy. We are going to move to our house in a couple of weeks, whether its ready or not! Hopefully we will at least get rid of all the pesky dust by then!
I turned EIGHT months old on April 20th. Can you believe it? I don't do any crawling yet, but I do sit up a lot and I like to stand up (especially when someone is there to catch me). Mommy thinks that I am not crawling yet because I am content just the way things are for now.
I started getting my seventh tooth a couple of weeks ago. Its a good thing I am getting that tooth, because I am really starting to use them. I eat a lot of baby food, and sometimes really want some of the food that Mommy and Daddy are eating, but I haven't really gotten a chance to taste that yet. I did get a chance to taste something called a Lemon recently. I wasn't very impressed, but Grandpa Mike thought that it was really funny for some reason!
Well, hopefully I've covered everything that has happened recently. I hope I can post again soon, but I can't make any promises since we are still so busy with the house. Once we get moved in, I will have to show you pictures of my new room!
Til then,

Busy Girl
I am learning so much that Daddy and Mommy can hardly keep up! I have gotten really good at imitating others. :) I can wave now and sometimes I play Patty Cake. I can also say several things now, including, Mamamama, Dadadada, yayayaya ...and sometimes I combine things and say Hi Dada and My Mama. I'm getting pretty good, huh?
I got my fifth and sixth teeth this past week (yes, it hurts, but MY fingers feel good on my gums these days). These would be my two front teeth (yea!). Guess I don't have to ask for those for Christmas this year... Oh, yeah, and I'm also fighting a cold.
I've been in and out of town visiting my family. I even got to see my Uncle Franklin, Aunt Tracy, and Cousin Fischer last weekend. I also got to spend time with Grandma Judy, Grandma Lynn, and Grandpa Mike!
I also recently celebrated my seven month birthday! I hope you enjoy the pictures that I have to share with you.
Well, I am expecting word any second now about my new cousin, "baby Y" being born, so I better go!

Moving!
Guess What!!
I'm MOVING! Yep, my Daddy and Mommy bid on a house last weekend and they won the bid! I'm so excited. Well, I'm sad to leave my tree we planted in our front yard, but Daddy said maybe we could plant another one at the new house. We think we will get to move around the end of April. My new house will have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and Mommy said she was really excited about having something called a dishwasher? Anyway, we can't wait!
Also, I got my 4th tooth! It's my other fang tooth...not my eye tooth. I now have two on top and two on bottom...I'm stylin'!
Other than that, it's just a lazy afternoon, well, for me anyway. Mommy is busy cleaning to put our house on the market next week. Guess I better get off the computer so she can keep working. :)
